TOWN OF TEWKSBURY, MASSACHUSETTS

REBUILD OF FILTER NOS. 3 & 4 AT TEWKSBURY WTP

CONTRACT No. PW-23-06

Sealed Bids for the Rebuild of Filter Nos. 3 & 4 at Tewksbury WTP; Contract No. PW-23-06, will be received at the Department of Public Works (DPW) Office located at 999 Whipple Road, Tewksbury, MA 01876 until 2:00 p.m. local time on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at which time said Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.

The work includes rebuilding the filter underdrain system and refurbishing the traveling bridge backwash mechanism for Filter Nos. 3 & 4 at the Tewksbury Water Treatment Plant (WTP).

Drawings and other Contract Documents will be available after 10:30 a.m. local time on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 by going to www.projectdog.com, entering Project Code 854445 in the project locator box, and following the prompts to a free downloadable bid set.  Contact www.projectdog.com or call 978-499-9014 for distribution questions.  No monetary deposit is required to obtain bid documents.  Contract Documents may also be examined, but not obtained, at the DPW Office during the following hours:  8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Minimum Wage Rates as determined by the Commissioner of Department of Labor and Industries under the provision of the Massachusetts General Laws, Chapter 149, Sections 26 to 27D, as amended, apply to this project.  It is the responsibility of the contractor, before bid opening, to request if necessary, any additional information on Minimum Wage Rates for those trades people who may be employed for the proposed work under this contract.
