The CareRide program is a subsidized transportation service for non-emergency medical appointments, offered by Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley and North Shore, for anyone 65 plus who resides in the Greater Lowell area. CareRide provides on-demand transportation to doctors' appointments and health and wellness programs when no other transportation options are available. The program uses Lyft and handicap-accessible vans to provide transportation, depending on the consumer's need.
Community Teamwork in Greater Lowell is a non-profit Community Action Agency committed to helping low-income people become self-sufficient.
